    Re-Cover Plus Application Process

    1. Preparation:
After your initial nail cleaning, start with Arch Rival Prep: This dehydrator is essential for cleansing the nail plate, ensuring a clean surface for product application.

    2. Primer Selection:
    Option A – Non-Acid Primer:
Use Arch Rival Optima, a non-acid primer, after applying Arch Rival Prep. This is ideal for a standard application.
Option B – Acid Primer for Fillable Application:

If using Re-Cover Plus as a fillable product, apply Arch Rival Salt, our acid primer, directly after using Arch Rival Prep process. Allow it to air dry completely. A fan can be helpful to speed up this process.  Ensure the nails are a milky white consistency. If they are not remove the acid primer with acetone and dehydrate the nail again with Arch Rival  Prep, and reapply Salt.  Very little salt primer is needed.  Wipe off your brush on the neck of the bottle two or three times before applying to the nails and that one brush should cover many if not all nails.

Note: Using Salt means that the Re-Cover Plus product will not soak off, making it perfect for filling nails.

    3.  Apply Arch Rival Base Plus: Using the applicator brush, take a small amount of Arch Rival Base Plus and start at the base of the nail and apply the gel in smooth, even strokes towards the tip. Be careful not to flood the cuticles; rather, brush close to them without touching.

    4.  Cure the Base Plus: Cure for 30 seconds in an Arch Rival nail lamp.

     Application of Re-Cover:

    1. Apply two coats of Re-Cover Plus, curing each layer in between in the arch rival nail lamp for 60 seconds to ensure proper curing and durability.
    2. Optional Enhancements:  Krystal Duo: For added protection, you can apply Arch Rival Nails Optima in a thin layer on top of the acid primer (Salt) after it has dried. Cure for 30 seconds to create a watertight seal.  Revival Powder: For extra strength, sprinkle some Arch Rival Revival Powder over the uncured layers of Re-Cover Plus before curing. This will enhance the durability of the application.
    3. Finishing Touches:  Once cured, file and shape the nails as you would with any other enhancement to achieve your desired look and finish, color and nail art.  Don’t forget to use Arch Rival Top for the shiniest most durable topcoat on the market.  Always ensure, regardless of the product or brand used, to wash hands with soap and water at the end of  of a service and cleanse nail plate with alcohol and a lint free pad until it squeaks. You’ll find that a textured, lint free pad, cleans the nail faster.

Removal Instructions for Killer Coats Re-CoverPlus:  Remove the gel polish and bulk of Recover Plus off of the nails,  immerse in acetone for 10+ minutes. Actual removal time may vary based on the amount of product applied and the extent of filing done prior to soaking.

    Removal Methods:
Cotton Wrap Method: Soak cotton balls in acetone, place them on the nails, and wrap fingers in foil for effective removal.
Warm Water Soak: Submerge fingers in a bowl of minimal acetone set inside a bowl of warm water for gentle, effective removal.
